This is a great sequel to what was one of my favorite books by this author. I do have to admit, the beginning stumbled a bit for me. There were a few things that were confusing, but my love for the characters easily carried me through.A few people have noted the main character's obvious negative traits. The author managed, for me, to pull off an unlikeable character, while still making me really care for her. Even when she herself went too far with her selfishness, the love of the main love interest more than made up for it. (and I hate romance).
There were a few things I wasn't sure about at first, but they were all redeemed with an action-packed and powerful ending and some really heartbreakingly beautiful themes.
My only suggestion. if you find yourself unsure in the beginning, hold on. It's action packed the whole way through but the real meat of the story is at about the half-way point and it doesn't let up from there.
I did receive an ARC of this book for an honest review.

Lightning Strikes Twice Unweaving Chronicles Book 2 eBook Sarah K L Wilson Reviews
Good fast-paced read with plenty of twists and turns lots of action and some romance tons of different characters and animals good fun read
This is such an awesome sci fi/fantasy series and I loved this follow up to Teeth of the Gods. Loved it. It's just....worth thw read. Well written and engaging and a fantastic story!
Once again a wonderful book by Sarah!! I bought this one and #3 immediately upon finishing the first book.
and have not regretted it!! The character development is wonderful and the story just keeps getting better!!
I am an ARC for this author. I really enjoyed reading these books. The first book a short story to acclimatize the reader to the characters in the story line. There are new ideas for survival and how the characters use mind and air. I hope you read these books. I am anxiously waiting for the 3rd book!
Lightning Strikes Twice (Unweaving Chronicles Book 2)
I've grown fond of the characters in this story. The best part for me is that I thought I might compare them to the author's Dragon Rider series (that I'm also reading) but she has done an exceptional job at keeping her characters fresh and different. The stories have great details and are unique.
Book two of the Unweaving Chronicles takes Tylira and the Prince of Hawks out of the fire and into the frying pan! This book follows Teeth of the Gods, as Tylira struggles with her magic and tries to save her world and the new one she has found. The book is more of a young adult type, but I appreciated the emothional growth of Tylira as the book progressed. Well written, with fast paced action, I would recommend this series.
Second book in the series finds us with Tylira finding out how strong her magic is only to then discover another wielder of magic more powerful than she is. Different worlds and different dimensions. Twists and turns in every direction. Choices and decisions to be made. A very creative plot and strong characters and personalities throughout. The slow maturity of the heroine - one step forward and two steps back - the book held my interest throughout. Though I found the beginning a little slow it was not too much of an issue as the pace soon picked up as one found oneself in the diverse and interesting world created with much imagination, fantasy and detail by the Author. Recommended!
